The Red Liger Zero. Another Liger Zero???

Zenon
was a 15-year-old girl, with a very great curiosity for Zoids. She has
reddish-blonde hair with silver streaks and brown eyes and she lives with her
dad Bit Cloud. Her mom Leena Cloud had died in a Zoid battle with Bit when
Zenon was 5-years-old. Since her mom was killed she never really got to know
her. When her mom died Bit retired from Zoid battles. Every once in a while her
Grandpa, Steve Tauros, would come over and tell her stories about how Bit and
Leena would fight over the snacks. Zenon would laugh but she would always
listen to him, as so she didn’t miss anything. When Zenon turned 13 her dad had
finally decided it was time that Zenon have a Zoid for herself. He set out to
find one. She remembered what he had said when he left on her Birthday,” I’ll
find you the perfect Zoid. Almost as perfect as my Liger
Zero.” She had responded,” Oh dad. It doesn’t
have to be as perfect as your Liger.” With that he left and he would return
that night for a meal. Then leave the next day and return that night for
another meal.
Today is her 15th Birthday and her dad was about
to leave. “Bye Dad. Don’t get lost.” She gave a little chuckle.
“Ha. Ha,” said Bit as he jumped into Liger preparing to
leave. “Don’t worry I’ll be back by super.” With that last word Liger’s cockpit
closed, he turned around, and shot off into the distance.
But to her great surprise Bit didn’t return that night. She
waited until late that night; it was nearly
‘Where could he be,’ she thought to herself. ‘He’ll be back
by tonight, hopefully.’
But he didn’t return. Again she waited until
After about a month Bit had finally return but still he
didn’t have a Zoid for her.
“Oh, Dad,” said Zenon. She hugged her dad as soon as he
jumped out of the cockpit. “What took you so long?”
“We got into a fight along the way. Liger was damaged quite
a bit and I had to take him to a repair shop. It took longer to repair him than
what the repair guy said,” Bit said. “But don’t worry I’ll be staying for
awhile.”
“Good,” said Zenon.
“Hey Bit,” said a guy that sounded familiar to Bit. “It’s
been a long time since I’ve seen you.”
“Brad,” said Bit. He gave Brad a big hug. “Brad this is my
daughter Zenon. Zenon this Brad.”
“I remember Grandpa telling me about you,” said Zenon.
“So, this is your daughter,” said Brad. “How are ya kid?”
“Good,” said Zenon. “Dad’s trying to find me a Zoid but he’s
not having any luck. Maybe you could help him the next time he leaves.”
“Maybe kid,” said Brad.
“Hey come on in,” said Bit. “You were about to make us lunch
weren’t you Zenon.”
“Oh ya,” said Zenon.
Bit and Brad hurried into the house to catch up on old
times. But Zenon took her sweet time. As she was standing in the doorway she
heard a furious roar that sounded like her Dad’s Liger but he was in the Hover
Cargo. She decided eating was more important than finding out what made that
roar. She decided to find out what made it after she ate. So, she went inside
and started lunch.
After she finished her lunch she headed to the door.
“Hey were are you goin’?” asked
Bit.
“Exploring,” said Zenon.
“Okay,” said Bit,” but don’t go to
far.”
When Zenon got outside she decided to explore the
area and see if she could find the Zoid that made that roar.
As she was exploring she came across a building
that was deserted as far as she knew. Well it was suppose to be deserted. But
she heard someone yelling inside. She decided to get closer to investigate, but
not too close.
As she got closer she could understand what he
was saying. “My Liger. He’s gone,” yelled a man. “Find
my Liger Zero.”
The guy was to busy chewing people out that he
didn’t realize that there where tracks leading from the building. As Zenon
looked to see where they were headed, someone was coming her way. He was
getting closer and closer. When he was practically on top of her he radioed
back to his boss,” I’ve found a girl.”
“Bring her to me,” said his boss.
“Roger,” said the guy. He grabbed Zenon by the
arm and jerked her up. She nearly fell on top of him but she was pushed before
she could gain her balance and again nearly fell. While she was walking to the
building she heard something running behind them. Before the guy could radio to
his boss a red Liger ran out and knocked him over. It then lowered its head and
opened its cockpit allowing her to get in. Zenon climbed in, lowered the
cockpit, and then hit the boosters to get back to her house as fast as she
could.
“Hey Bit,” said Brad. “How long has it been since
the Blitz team broke up?”
“I don’t know,” said Bit. “I’d say probably about
19 or 20 years. What did you do when you left the Blitz team?”
“Umm,” said Brad as he crossed his hands behind
his head and leaned against the couch. “I went to find Naomi and joined her
team. Then the Flugel team broke up and I was again without a team. But Naomi
however decided to start a family with me and we got married.”
“Oh,” said Bit.
“We have twin boys. Their names are Dominick and
“What kind of Zoids do they pilot?”
“Dominick pilots a Zabor Fang and
Before Bit could ask Brad another question Zenon
burst in and said,” Dad. Dad. Come here quick. You
have to see this.” Bit and Brad followed Zenon outside and gazed at the Red
Liger.
“Wow,” said Bit. “Where did you find this Liger?”
“It found me,” said Zenon as if she was going to
cry. “It looks just like your Liger so I figured it was a Liger Zero. Oh, I was
near that old building which was supposed to be empty. Some guy was yelling
something about losing a Liger Zero and this guy spotted me and is boss told
him to bring me to him. But as he was taking me to his boss this Liger showed
up, scared the guy, knocked him down, and let me get in. I finally have my own
Zoid.” She started jumping because she was so happy.
“Liger. Ligerrrrrrr,” a girl was yelling. “Where are you
Liger?”
“Did you lose something,” said Zenon as she
walked up to the girl.
“Yeah. My Liger Zero ran off again and I can’t find
him. Have you seen him?” asked the girl.
“What’s your name?” asked Zenon.
“My name’s Jo. What’s yours?” asked Jo.
“My name is Zenon. I found a Liger Zero. What
color was your Liger,” asked Zenon.
“He was red,” Jo replied.
“That’s him then. Why does he keep running away?”
Zenon asked even thou she thought it was a stupid question.
“I’m not sure,” said Jo. “When my dad bought him
from this guy he nearly injured the guy we bought it from trying to get away.
And every time I get in the cockpit he starts bucking and I have to eject to
keep from getting hurt.”
“That’s very interesting,” said Bit.
“Would you like to come over and have some coffee
with my dad and I?” Jo asked.
“Sure,” said Zenon.
Bit, and Brad followed Jo to her house. Zenon piloted
the Liger Zero to her house. When they got to her house they went inside and
sat down on her couch and Bit asked her dad about the Liger Zero and what his
name was.
“My name’s Darren and I bought the Liger Zero
from a guy that found it wondering around about a month ago. He then brought us
the armor units it can transform into,” Darren said.
“But the only problem is that I can’t pilot it,”
said Jo. “Zenon can pilot it thou. Dad would it be okay if we
sold Liger Zero to them?”
“I don’t see why not,” said Darren. “So do you
want Liger?”
“Yeah,” said Bit.
Later after Bit had paid for Liger they loaded up
his armor units and him into the Hover Cargo and headed off. Before they could

About a month after they had been traveling and
battling Jamie showed up and took his position as tactics commander like he was
before the group broke up.
It’s been a year since they started and they are
a few matches away from being in Class A.
After Jamie received the call from the judges of
when, where, and who their next battle was against he told the team.
“So we’re up against the Flugel team,” Bit said
looking at Brad. “I think our winning streak ends here.”
“Why do you say that,” said Brad.
“You told me they were good pilots,” said Bit.
“Don’t worry we’ll do fine,” said Brad.
“Where did Zenon go?” Jamie asked as he was
checking his list of things he needed to do.
“She took Liger for a run,” said
“Don’t worry she’ll be back,” said Brad. “She’s
probably just thinking out some things.”
It was about 30 minutes before she got back.
She jumps out of Ligers cockpit, runs into, what
they called the living room, and said,” I’m back. Hey dad can I talk to you for
a minute.” She motioned for her dad to follow her.
When they were by themselves Zenon said,” Dad in
our next battle can I try on a armor unit?”
“I guess you can. Do you know which one would be
best for our next battle?” asked Bit.
“No.”
“We’re up against a Gun Sniper, a Lightening
Saix, and a Zabor Fang. So, your best bet would be…”
“Would be the one like your
Jager unit.”
“Right, and now we have to find that one.”
They walk through the living room and into the
place were the Zoids are kept.
“Hey, you guys,” said Jamie as he walked in. “You
better not were the Ligers out cause we’ll definitely
need their strength tomorrow.”
“Ok,” Bit said. “I guess we’ll just guess
tomorrow then.”
Zenon was up before anyone. So, she decided to
walk down into the area where the Zoids were kept and sat next to her Liger.
She was thinking about which armor unit she should use. ‘Should I use the Blue one, the white
one, the black one, or the black and blue one. Ummmm.’
“Hey Zenon whatcha doin’,” said Jamie as he
walked in. Zenon jumped and held Liger as if Jamie was going to harm her. But
Liger just looked at her.
“Jamie,” said Zenon in relief. “Don’t ever scare
me like that. I nearly had heart failure.”
“Sorry,” said Jamie.
“I’m trying to figure out which one of the armors
I should use. Can you help me?” Zenon asked.
“Sure,” said Jamie. “First lets
look at their characteristics. The Blue and Black one is kind of like the
Schneider. The Black one is kind of like the Panzer. The White one is a mix of
the Schneider and Jagar. The Blue one is kind of like the Jager. So, the Blue
one is the one to use. But if you go with the Blue one, we will have a speed
advantage but not a weapon advantage. But if you went with the White one, we
would still have the speed advantage but also have the weapon advantage…”
Zenon cut him short and said,” Okay I’ll use the
White one.”
“Let’s put it on him then,” said Jamie.
“Okay,” said Zenon as Liger lowered his head and
she climbed in.
“Let’s launch ya first. Then come back like it’s
the middle of a battle, like Bit does, and then put on the Jager-Schneider
unit.”
“Okay,” said Zenon. She loaded Liger on the
launch ramp and prepared to take off. “Gooooooooo Liger,” said Zenon. He landed
on the ground and ran around for a little bit.
“Okay, Zenon, bring him back, and let’s try the
Jager-Schneider unit,” said Jamie.
“Gotcha,” said Zenon then brought Liger around to
the back of the Hover Cargo and loaded him up. “Mobilize Jager-Schneider.” She
moved the leg controls like Jamie told her and waited for the armor to be put
on.
“CAS complete,” said Jamie. “You’re all set to
return to the battle.”
“Jamie you do know that this is just a test,”
said Zenon.
“I know it just feels right if I say it.”
“Okay. Gooooooo Jager-Schneider.” She prepared
again to launch Liger. Then he was launch high into the air and landed on the
ground.
“Zenon hit his boosters.”
“Gotcha.” She pushed the boosters, exceeded to well over
400 miles per hour, and was sucked to the back of her seat. “This is almost to
fast for me to handle.”
“That’s why I wanted you to try it right now.”
She was a little confused and said,” Why???”
“So you can get use to the high speeds. If you
want to help out a lot during the battle then you have to get use to the high
speeds.”
“Okay.”
A little bit after she had been running around
she decided to take a little break and brought Liger to a stop near the Hover
Cargo. “Man that was fast. I don’t think I’ve gone that fast, not even in a
dream.”
“Hey it’s almost time for the battle. So you
better come in and take a break.”
“Okay.” She brought Liger back in, switched back
to the original form, and went to get something to eat.
“Hey, good run,” said Brad.
“Yeah,” said
“Thanks,” said Zenon,“ I
just hope I’ll do good in battle and be able to take the force of the high
speeds.”
“Don’t worry kid,” said Brad,“
you’ll do fine.”
“I guess so,” said Zenon. “Have you seen my dad?”
“Yeah,” said Brad. “He told me he was taking
Liger for a run.”
“That’s kind of strange,” said Zenon. “See ya.”
She then walked out of the area for holding Zoids, into the kitchen, and got
something to eat. She walked back out and asked,” Brad, when did my dad leave?”
“I think he left about an hour before you came in
and took a break. Don’t worry he’ll be back,” said Brad.
“I know,” said Zenon.
“Well he better be back soon cause the battle
starts in about 2 hours,” said Jamie.
“I’m back,” said Bit.
“We better get ready for the battle and make sure
there is nothing wrong with the Zoids,” said
“Okay,” said Brad, Zenon, Bit, and Jamie.
They all went off and decided to do whatever they
wanted after they made sure their Zoids were in working order. But Zenon didn’t
need to check hers since she just took it for a run.
It is nearly time for the battle and Bit and
Zenon are about to go crazy because they can’t wait.
“Come on. Come on,” said Zenon.
“What’s the matter?” Jamie asked.
“It’s about time for the battle,” she said. “I
can’t wait.”
“Well why don’t you go
ahead and get into your Liger,” said Jamie and before he could tell her why he
said that, she bolted out the door and was followed by Bit a second later. She
hopped in and just sat there like it was a dream. “Ah, Zenon, you might want to
load the armor.”
“No,” said Zenon.
“Why?” Jamie asked.
“Cause I want to use the armor as a last resort,”
said Zenon.
“But I thought you really wanted to use the
armor?” asked Jamie confused.
“I do,” said Zenon,” but I want to see how good
I’ll do before I use the armor.”
“Just let here do what she wants,” said Bit as a
screen appeared in Zenon’s cockpit and over his loud speakers.
“Ok boss,” said Jamie.
The battle was about to begin and Zenon was about
to explode.
“Prepare to launch,” said Jamie.
“Ok,” said Bit and Brad.
“Where’s

“Okay,” said Jamie,” are we ready?”
“Yeah,” said Bit, Brad, and
“Zenon?” said Jamie confused.
“Ready,” Zenon said enthusiastically.
“CAS complete for Zero Jager,” said Jamie. “Ready to launch.”
“All right,” said Bit. “Goooooooooo Jager.”
Zero Jager was launched high into the air and
landed with a running start. The Shadow Fox and the Blade Liger soon followed
him.
“Are you ready to launch Zenon,” said Jamie.
“Ready,” said Zenon. “Gooooooooo Liger.”
She too was launched high into the air and landed
with a running start. A Judge capsule was soon launched and landed in the
battle area.
“The area within a 10 mile radius is a designated
Zoids battle area. All unauthorized personal must leave the area at once. The Blitz team versus the Flugel team. Ready, FIGHT,” said
the judge.
The three Ligers gave their mighty roar before
they attacked. The Shadow Fox also gave its mighty but high-pitched roar and
bolted off. Brad decided he would take his wife, Naomi, Bit decided to take on
Tanis, the brown haired blue eyed twin, and Leon decided to take on Dominick,
the red haired brown eyed twin. Zenon decided to take on
To
her great surprise, after about 4 minutes into the battle, her dad’s Zoids just
Froze. But Liger had never ever Froze before.
“Zenon, watch out for
“Gotcha,” said Zenon. She then bolted after him
and they raced into the distance. Again she had another great surprise, her Liger Zero was faster than the Lightening
Saix. She beat him easily in a racing match and then took him out with a Strike
Laser Claw. “Wow, Liger you’re awesome. Now let’s go get Dominick.” She again
bolted back to the major battle area. Brad’s Zoid had also Froze. She took out
Naomi in no time at all. Although Dominick didn’t have a fast Zoid he still
beat
“Zenon, switch to Zero Jager-Schneider quick,”
said Jamie.
“Right,” said Zenon and bolted off to the Hover
Cargo.
“Off to reload I take it,” said Dominick. “I can
wait.”
Her armor was switched with the Zero
Jager-Schneider unit.
“Ok, CAS complete. Set
to return to battle,” said Jamie.
“Right,” said Zenon. “Gooooooo
Jagerrrrr-Schneiderrrrrr.” Liger was launched way faster and higher than the
first time it was launched. She ran at Dominick and caught him by surprise by a
nick to the shoulder. She then took him out with a Buster Slash combined with a
ton of speed. So, it was a Super Buster Slash.
“Yeah,” said Zenon,” we won.” She was so happy
that when she got out of Liger she started dancing. “We won.”
“Good job Zenon,” said Bit as he gave her a big
hug for her first victory with a new armor unit. Then
“So, we’ll be seeing you,” said Bit.
“Thanks for the party,” said Naomi. “Goodbye
Brad.” She gave him a hug then got in her Gustav. Dominick and
“Good job, Zenon,” said Dominick and
“Thanks,” said Zenon. “You guys did an excellent
job, too.” They each gave her a hug then they too got in the Gustav. They left.
“I think Zenon has a crush on one of your boys,
Brad,” whispered Bit.
But Zenon heard him,” Dad, I do not.” She started
running after her dad and wouldn’t stop chasing him. Brad just shrugged and got
in the Hover Cargo followed by
Eventually Zenon settled down, got into the Hover
Cargo, and they headed off again.
Again they were traveling and waiting for a
match. They then came across some weird area in the desert that didn’t seem to
be a desert at all. It was solid dirt. Jamie found it a little funny that a
patch of solid dirt could be found in a lake of sand. But Bit and Brad and
convinced Jamie that it would be safer to park the Hover Cargo on the dirt for
the night.
That night Zenon decided to play on the computer
for a while. While she was on the computer she heard a very strange noise and
decided to go investigate. She starts checking in the kitchen, then the living
room, the command post (area where you can watch a battle, put up the shield,
and fire the weapons) and finally the Zoid area. She doesn’t find anything and
decides to go back to the computer. Before she reaches the computer she hears
it again. She runs into the computer room, turns off the computer and goes to
get her dad,
She runs into each of their rooms yelling,” Get
up. Something is near or in the Hover Cargo. Come on. Get up.” Slowly Brad gets
up, then Leon, and then Jamie. But Bit doesn’t get up. “Listen.” They all
listen but don’t hear anything.
“Go to bed, Zenon,” said Brad. “Your just hearing things cause your tired.”
“Night,” said Leon and Jamie.
“Goodnight and go to bed,” said Brad and walked
back to his room.
“Okay,” said Zenon finally as she walked to her
room and went to sleep.
The next day Zenon decided to take Liger for a
run and left them a note. But as she got into Liger and opened the main gate
she realized that something was wrong. It didn’t look like it did last night.
It had too many trees and all the ground was dirt not sand. So, she got out of
Liger as fast as possible, closed the main gate and ran to wake up her dad.
“Dad, you have to come see this,” said Zenon. Her
dad slowly got up. “Come on.” He followed her out of the room and into the Zoid
area. “Look.” She opened the main gate.
Her dad was shocked to see that it was no longer
a desert. “Oh man. Go get Leon, Brad, and Jamie.”
“Right.” Zenon ran into each of there rooms and woke them
up. They all ran down to the Zoid area. “What are we going to do, dad?”
“I’m going to find out were we are first,” said
Bit. “You guys are going to stay here.”
“You’re not going by yourself, dad,” said Zenon.
She gave him a stern look.
“All right,” said Bit. “You guys can come to.”
So they all headed off in search of a village.
But when they find one no one is there. So, they must keep searching. The next
village they find has many people but the first person they saw was going to
kill them because he thought they were trying to start the war again. So, he jumped
into his Gun Sniper and chased them out of town. They figured they had better
find another village and ask someone where they are. They keep on searching and
searching. They finally find a village and Bit asks them where they are. She
tells him and he’s shocked when he finds out where they and what year it is.
He’s so shocked that he walks really slowly back to the Hover Cargo.
“So, where are we?” asked Zenon.
“We’re 4,019 years in the past,” said Bit slowly.
“Are you sure? How can that be,” said Zenon.
“It must have happened last night when we were
sleeping. We must have stopped on a Rare Teleport,” said Jamie. “Now we’re
stuck in the past unless we can land on another Rare Teleport. But the chances
of it teleporting us back 4,019 years into the future is unlikely.”
“So, I take it we better make the best of this,”
said Brad.
“Yeah,” said Jamie.
“Well then let’s just start traveling and
hopefully the next people we meet won’t try to kill us,” said Bit.
So, they head off again in search of someone to
travel with.
It has been about a year since they were
teleported here and they still haven’t found anyone. Zenon decides to take
Liger out and find someone while her dad and the rest wait for her. She runs
off and looks around for any signs of people but finds nothing but some ruins.
She decides to investigate. She leaves Liger and tells him to wait for her. She
runs inside and decides not to take any chances and proceeds very slowly. She
looks around ever corner before she walks around, she looks down ever hall
before she walks down and jumps at every noise. As she is walking a Red Raptor
sneaks up behind her. It gives a little roar and scares her. She runs and runs
until she can run no longer. She decided to take a rest on the wall and then
the Red Raptor came. She hugged against the wall as tight as she could. The Red
Raptor came really close and was about to slash at her when the wall started to
turn and she was in another room. She walks around the room and on the wall
across from were she came in she saw some pictures. There were pictures of
Zoids, but they were small Zoids. They were each different colors. One was
Silver, one was Blue, one was Red, one was Dark Gray, one was Gold and then one
looked like it was maybe a Gold mixed with a little Silver. It was the tallest
one. She was festinated. They were the coolest things she had ever seen,
besides her Liger. She decided to find a way out that didn’t mean going out
were the Red Raptor was. So, she looked at every wall. As she was leaning
against one it started to turn and she thought she was leaning against the one
she came threw but the pictures weren’t across the room like they should have
been. They were on the wall to her right and she decided to keep pushing on the
wall. The room had one little blue-shelled capsule and she had no idea of what
it was. But on the wall with what looked like some controls she saw another
picture. It was describing what would happen when it was opened. It showed that
Gold-Silver Zoid coming out. She found this very strange. She had never heard
of a Zoid being born from a capsule. But when she tried to push on the wall
which she came threw it wouldn’t budge. She thought she would never get out of
there, but then she remembered the pictures. So, she pushed one of the buttons and
the little blue capsule opened and she stood next to it. It opened and a
Gold-Silver Zoid came out. It fell out and then got up. It looked around the
room, spotted Zenon, and roared at her. She didn’t move she had no reason to.
The Zoid just looked at her. He again gave a might roar then took a swing with
its tail towards her but she ducked. The Zoid again just looked at her. All of
sudden the Red Raptor that had chased her charged threw the wall. The Zoid that
had just been born charged at the Red Raptor and rammed the Red Raptor as hard
as it could which threw it back threw the wall it just came threw. The little
Zoid then pushed Zenon and urged her to run threw the wall before the Red
Raptor could get up. They raced out of the ruins and back out to her Liger. She
hopped in, the Red Raptor then charged out, and she took it out with a Strike
Laser Claw. She then ran back in the direction of where she came before she
went into the ruins followed by the little Zoid. She couldn’t understand why
the little Zoid kept following her, but since it was she needed to name it
something. She thought about it and thought about it.
When she had the Hover Cargo in site on one of
her screens she finally thought up a name. She decided to name it
“Dad, who are these people?” Zenon asked.
“The dark skinned girl is Moon-Bay, the other
girl is Fiona, the boy is Van, and the weird looking guy is

“Well let’s go introduce you to our guess,” said
Bit. They walked back in. “Van, Moon-Bay, Fiona,
“Hello,” said Van, Moon-Bay, Fiona, and
They all talked for a couple hours and finally
Bit asked if they could travel with them and they told him sure. Moon-Bay
decided to leave her trusty Gustav behind so that way they could all ride in
the Hover Cargo. Although
